This Rider applies to customers using the UAE TAZEET marketplace. It supplements the global customer policies. If there is a conflict, this Rider controls for the UAE, and mandatory federal and applicable emirate-level law always prevails.
Local marketplace operator and controller: TAZARA FZ LLC (United Arab Emirates). TAZEET is the consumer brand.
Platform and seller
TAZEET operates the electronic marketplace. Unless expressly identified as seller, TAZEET is not the merchant of third-party products. The independent seller shown on the product, order, or invoice is responsible for product legality, conformity, safety, labels, price, dated invoice, warranty, after-sales service, and mandatory remedies. TAZEET remains responsible for duties UAE law assigns directly to it.
Electronic commerce disclosures
Customers must receive clear trader identity, product, total price, payment, delivery, cancellation, warranty, and other material information required for trade by modern technological means. Products must be legally permitted, and electronic invoices and records may be used as allowed by law.
Consumer protection
Customers are entitled to correct information, declared prices, required warnings, privacy, safety, dated invoices in the required form and language, warranty and after-sales support, and prompt complaint handling. Defective, unsafe, counterfeit, commercially fraudulent, or materially misdescribed goods are prohibited. No contract term removes non-waivable rights.
Product safety and recall
TAZEET may stop sales, contact customers, quarantine inventory, and coordinate return, repair, replacement, refund, or recall for a safety or commercial-fraud concern. Customers should follow stop-use instructions and report incidents immediately.
Privacy
Personal information is handled under applicable UAE data-protection requirements and the Privacy Policy. Depending on the processing, rights may include information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and consent withdrawal, subject to lawful exceptions.
VAT and invoices
The checkout and invoice show applicable VAT and charges based on the transaction and seller’s tax position. The seller remains responsible for its tax invoice unless another supplier is identified. TAZEET may collect, report, or remit information or tax where law requires.
Complaints and governing law
Start with the order or Contact Us process. You may also contact the competent UAE consumer, privacy, product-safety, payment, or judicial authority. Applicable UAE federal law and the law of the relevant emirate govern, subject to mandatory jurisdiction and rights. Arabic may prevail where required in an official proceeding.
Reference frameworks
Relevant frameworks include Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 on Trading by Modern Technological Means, Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection as amended, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection, Federal Decree-Law No. 42 of 2023 on Combating Commercial Fraud, and Federal Law No. 10 of 2018 on Product Safety.
